Are you finding your lash extensions are not lasting as long as usual? During different seasons shedding may be more or less however this is a completely natural occurrence. Natural lashes do normal shed 1-5 per day – per eye, this is why it is recommended that you book your lash infill every 2-3 weeks so your lashes can be replenished.
If you find you still have full lashes after 3 weeks we still recommend booking in for a infill before it hits the 4 week mark. This is because your extensions will appear very grown out and most of them will be hanging on the tips of your lashes. This can be very damaging for your natural lashes as it can way your natural lashes down leading them to shed in an unhealthy way. It is also important to know that when you come in for your infill your beauty therapist will remove all the outgrown extensions and replace them with new ones. If all your lash extensions are grown out this means your beauty therapist will have to remove them all and replace them, leading the appointment to change to a full set of lash extensions instead of an infill.
Here at Jiemao we do infill other Salons work, meaning if you had extensions done at another salon but you want to get them infilled with us you must ensure you have 40% lash extensions remaining in order for us to infill your lashes. Anything under 40% will be a full set appointment. We also only infill lashes that are done correctly, if your lashes are not done correctly then we would have to remove them and start fresh. Below is a picture of 40% lash extensions that are ready for a infill appointment and lash extensions that are ready for a new full set.
