A lash lift and tint is a cosmetic procedure to enhance the appearance of eyelashes. During a lash lift, the natural lashes are curled using a chemical solution, providing a semi-permanent lift and curl to the lashes. Meanwhile, tinting involves applying a dye to the lashes to darken them, making them appear fuller and more defined. This combination can create the illusion of longer, thicker lashes without the need for mascara or eyelash extensions. A lot of Client are curious to how a lash lift works. During our consultation we ask Clients if they would like us to talk to them through the process. Here is a step by step process for a Lash lift.
LASH LIFT & TINT TREATMENT: STEP BY STEP
We begin by placing eye pads directly over your lower eyelids, followed by positioning a lash shield onto your upper eyelids. A bonding glue is then placed onto the shields while we brush your lashes up to keep them in place. Your therapist checks for any clumping, ensuring each lash is evenly spaced. Proceeding, a perming solution is applied and left to process for approximately 7-9 minutes.
The first solution is then removed, and a neutralizer solution is applied, left to process accordingly typically for 5-7 minutes. Your therapist delicately removes your lashes from the shield using a moist cotton swab, proceeding to cleanse your eyelids.
Following, the tint is carefully applied to the lashes, allowing it to process for 6-9 minutes.
Upon completion, the tint is gently removed using cotton pads and swabs.
To conclude the treatment, your lash therapist applies a nourishing solution to condition your lashes after the perm. This treatment takes 45-1 hour to complete.

Like every treatment that is not done correctly by someone that is not experienced or trained can be a unpleasant experience. However when done correctly by a trained therapist your experience will make you book your next appointment! The process is completely relaxing with zero discomfort as your eyes will be closed for 45minues – 1 hour and clients tend to fall asleep. You will be left with beautiful lashes for 6-8 weeks.
